May 6 was a very special and awaited day for our Photosymbiosis team and with a lot of emotions for our colleague Andrea. She had her Ph.D. defense on the Multiscale study of symbiotic microalgae within a host.

We would like to thank the members of the Jury that agreed to be part of the thesis defense panel et for doing the trip to Grenoble to assist in person.

We would like to congratulate Andrea for her great presentation and wish her all the best for the future of her scientific life.
