We study two models of eukaryotic photosymbiosis from freshwater and marine habitats:
In Freshwater habitat
The freshwater symbiosis between the ciliate Paramecium bursaria and the green alga Chlorella spp.
In the Ocean
The marine symbiosis between radiolarians and haptophytes or dinoflagellates microalgae.
