New sampling campaign at Villefranche-sur-Mer (Mediterranean Sea) – September 2021. The main objective of the mission was to sample new symbiotic organisms from the plankton at different times of the day and different depths for microscopy investigations. This was a joint adventure together with EMBL Heidelberg (Yannick Schwab), ETH Zurich (Martin Pilhofer), Helmholtz Zentrum Munich (Ben Engel), IBS Grenoble (Benoit Gallet).
