01 Oct Welcome to Faustine, new Project manager

We are glad to welcome 3 new Photosymbiosis team members this month! Faustine FERRARIS is one of them, she is joining the team as the new project manager and communications officer.
A few words from Faustine:
“With a background in biological engineering, I have built my career in the field of studying the microscopic life that surrounds us, a subject that has always fascinated me. I spent six years at Lesaffre in Lille as a research engineer in probiotics and human microbiota, before joining Bioaster in Lyon, a pharmaceutical microbiology research institute focused on infectious diseases, where I managed project portfolios, in a complex research environment funded by private partners, foundations, and public institutions. By joining the Photosymbiosis team of the Cell and Plant Physiology Laboratory as a project manager and communications officer I am discovering the microscopic world of the marine life. I’m passionate about making science accessible and helping share the team’s discoveries about the fascinating world of plankton—particularly through the PlanktoQuest project, a 360° virtual dive into planktonic microorganisms.”
We wish her all the best and success!
